In partnership with the Diaper Bank of Central Arizona
Dear Father Matters partner,
The need for disposable diapers is ongoing and critical. According to the National Diaper Bank Network, 5.9 million babies age 3 or younger in the U.S. live in poor or low-income households. Diapers can’t be purchased with food stamps, and many child care providers require that children arrive with their own supply of disposable diapers. Babies born into low-income families may spend an entire day or more in one diaper, leading to serious health risks.
In partnership with the Diaper Bank of Central Arizona, Father Matters provides an emergency supply of diapers to those in immediate need. Many agencies help families in need by providing food, shelter, and clothing. The Diaper Bank of Central Arizona is the only Diaper Bank in the Phoenix area and is committed to collecting and distributing diapers to a wide range of non-profit organizations in the Valley. By distributing diapers to non-profit organizations, our partner agencies can provide all the needed services, ranging from case management, assistance, and support to help families get back on their feet.
We are requesting YOUR SUPPORT in donating diapers, wipes and supplies for our Diaper Bag Program for families experiencing an emergency need. Items that we need include:
- Diapers (Newborn to 4/5T)
- Infant Care Items (Shampoo, lotion, baby powder, diaper rash cream)
- Cans of Formula (Brand new unopened)
- Educational Toys or Books for Infants and Toddlers
Diapers are expensive and can cost $100 or more a month per child. Unfortunately, diapers cannot be purchased with food stamps and are not provided as part of WIC programs.
We would like your help with providing these necessary resources to help the families of our communities. *Donations can be dropped off at our South Phoenix location: 3146 E. Wier Ave #26 Phoenix, AZ 85040 in the Brooks Community School or at the Diaper Bank of Central Arizona at 5502 W. Buckeye Rd, Suite 100 Phoenix, AZ 85043. If you would like to host a diaper drive please feel free to call 602-774-3298 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your support!
